Dear Mrs. Wittman, you don't know me but my name is Molly Martin and I used to live at 78 Agawam Street. My parents, John and Jean, built the house. Actually, my dad and a few of his friends built the home and my mom found the lot while we were living in Harbor Creek back in 1976. I'm told when she found the land there weren't any paved roads and we were one of the first houses to be built. I was two years old when we moved in (33 now) and lived there until I was a freshman in college which then, my parents moved to Virginia. I can't convey to you how much this house means to me. All the memories of growing up and knowing that my dad knows where every nail is. I love that. This may sound silly but when ever I come to visit NE, I go visit "my" house. Every family that has lived there has welcomed me, let me walk through and remember old, wonderful memories. They tell me it is still referred to as the "Martin house". That makes me smile. I have said that one day I will own it and it will be back in the family again...where it belongs. I guess I just wanted to write you and tell you what a special place 78 Agawam St. is to me.  So many things make it special. Obviously, the house but the neighborhood, the neighbors...The Ring's, The Fox's, The Hall's, Joe O'Leary (when he lived there) just to name a few and of course, the little town of North East. I will forever hold that time in my life in my heart and I hope who ever is next in line to make this house a home will find it as wonderful as I did. Well, at least until I can buy it back! Thank you for you time. Sincerely, Molly    missmollee@gmail.com
